Huawei Mate 10

Huawei is rumored to launch next flagship smartphone, the Mate 10 in October later this year. It will be the successor to Huawei Mate 9 which was launched in November last year. The Mate 10 will feature a JDI’s 6-inch Full Active display (pictured above) with 18:9 aspect ratio and 2160 x 1080 Pixel resolution. It will be powered by Huawei’s next generation 10nm Kirin 970 processor. For multimedia, the new Mate 10 will pack 3D sensing Dual cameras at back which will be used for augmented reality feature. The new Mate 10 will come pre-installed with GOogle’s latest Android OS. It will also feature a under display fingerprint sensor. Rests of the specs are unknown but Huawei will launch Mate 10 in October later this year. Stay tuned for more information.

Vivo Officially Launches New Vivo X9S and X9S Plus Smartphones

Vivo has officially announced two new selfie focused mid-range smartphones: Vivo X9S and X9S Plus. Both these smartphones comes pre-installed with GOogle’s latest Android 7.1 Nougat OS and Vivo’s own Funtouch OS 3.0. The Vivo X9S (pictured above) features a 5.5-inch Full HD AMOLED display with resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. It is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 652 processor and 4GB RAM. For multimedia, the Vivo X9S packs a 16MP f/2.0 camera at back with LED flash and a dual front facing selfie cameras (20MP and 5MP sensors with f/2.0 aperture). There is also a front facing LED flash for better low lighting condition. For storage, it comes with 64GB non expandable internal memory. The Vivo X9S also comes with a fingerprint scanner Incorporated in the home button. In addition to that it comes with a 3320mAh battery.

Lenovo Moto G5S Plus

The Moto G5S Plus is rumored to be the next mid-range smartphone from Lenovo owned Motorola featuring Google’s Android OS. Unlike the Moto G5 Plus, the new G5S Plus will come with an all metal body design. The Moto G5S Plus will feature 5.5-inch Full HD display with resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. It will be powered by Qualcomm’s octa core Snapdragon 660 processor and 4GB RAM. According to leaked press renders, the new Moto G5S Plus will pack a Dual camera setup at back and front facing LED flash alongside Selfie camera. The Moto G5S Plus will come pre-installed with Google’s latest Android 7.1 Nougat OS. Rests of the specs are still unknown but Lenovo is expected to launch Moto G5S Plus in the coming weeks. Android creator Andy Rubin’s Essential has officially announced Essential Phone featuring an edge-to-edge display and Google’s Android OS. In size, it measures 141.5 x 71.1 x 7.8 mm and weighs 185g. The body is made up of titanium so it can survive a good drop without much damage. The Essential Phone features a 5.7-inch QHD display with resolution of 2560 x 1312 pixels (Aspect Ratio-19:10). It is powered by Qualcomm’s latest flagship chipset Snapdragon 835 and 4GB RAM. For multimedia, the new Essential Phone comes with a Dual 13MP cameras at back with PDAF and an 8MP Selfie camera capable of shooting 4K videos.. In addition to that it comes with a magnetic connector at top that allows users to clip on accessories like 360 degree camera and charging dock. For connectivity, it supports Bluetooth 5.0, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, NFC technology, GPS/GLONASS, USB Type-C port and LTE Mobile connections.

The Essential Phone comes pre-installed with Google’s Android OS. For storage, it has a 128GB UFS 2.1 internal storage with no support for micro-SD card. The new flagship phone will also not support 3.5mm headphone jack. It also comes with a 3000mAh battery with fast charging technology. The Essential Phone will be available to purchase in four different colors: Black Moon, Stellar Grey, Pure White and Ocean depth. It is now available to pre-order in the US for $699.
